OVERVIEW

In January 2018, President Ingrid Thompson-Sellers informed the campus community of the formation of strategic planning committee to begin development of a new five-year strategic plan for the institution. The committee included faculty, staff, a student and community partners. The committee was facilitated by a Chancellor Emeritus of the University System of Georgia and co-chaired by one faculty member and one member of the staff. During April 2018, the Mission and proposed Vision and Values were made available for public review on the SGSC Strategic Plan webpage.

In January 2019, the new SGSC Strategic Plan was officially launched.
