A typical career counseling session lasts 30 - 60 minutes. During your session, the career counselor will assess your needs and help you develop a Career Action Plan (CAP).
If you want an interview in today's job market, your cover letter and resume must be above reproach. Email your cover letter and resume to Career Services, or stop by during walk-in hours, for a detailed critique. Templates and other resources are also available.
Are you feeling nervous about an upcoming interview? Schedule a mock interview, with Career Services, to build confidence and rehearse your responses. Panel interviews can also be arranged with advanced notice (at least four weeks).
Are you considering graduate or professional school? Schedule an appointment, with Career Services, to explore programs, schools, and entrance requirements. During your session, the career counselor will guide you through the admissions process. GRE, MAT, and GMAT resources are also available.
Career Services hosts a career fair each year. Come dressed to impress and network with top companies/organizations. To learn how to prepare for the fair, visit Career Services during walk-in hours.
