Feb. 9 Game 2: SGSC Hawks Claims Victory over Salkehatchie

South Georgia State College (SGSC) Hawks were victorious over Salkehatchie, 5-1, in game two of a doubleheader Sunday, Feb. 9, 2020.

The Hawks opened up scoring in the first inning on a stolen base during Walker Sinclair's at bat. SGSC racked up eight hits during the game. Sinclair and Jackson Howell contributed two hits to lead South Georgia’s hitting. Kody Krause, Clayton Smith, Matthew Warren and Greg Wozniak each added one hit.

Andrew Curtin was the winning pitcher for the Hawks. He lasted six innings, allowing four hits and zero runs while striking out five and walking one. Caden Sconyers threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
