SGSC 2021 Annual Fire Safety and Security Report

The SGSC Police Department has published the 2021 Annual Security and Fire Safety Report (ASR) for South Georgia State College.  This annual report is required by federal law and contains policy statements and crime statistics for our college.  The policy statements address the school’s policies, procedures and programs concerning safety and security.  Encompassed in the ASR is information regarding campus security and personal safety including topics such as crime prevention, fire safety, law enforcement authority, crime reporting policies, disciplinary procedures and other matters of importance related to security and safety on campus.  The report also contains crime statistics for three previous calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus, in certain off-campus buildings and/or property owned and/or controlled by SGSC and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus.

If you would like to review the combined Annual Security and Fire Safety Report, please follow this link. Also, a copy may be obtained by request from the SGSC Police Department located in Tiger Village I on the Douglas Campus and in The Administration Building on the Waycross Campus.
