SGSC Now Offers In-State Tuition for Border States

South Georgia State College is pleased to announce that beginning in the 2015-2016 school year, it will offer in-state tuition for students living in Florida, Alabama, or South Carolina, which allows SGSC to offer an affordable, high-quality education to students in these border states.
SGSC is one of ten Georgia institutions to receive approval to support the University System of Georgia’s college completion initiative. Students who enroll during this time will be able to maintain in-state tuition rates for the duration of their studies as long as they continuously meet the eligibility requirement.
SGSC President Dr. Virginia Carson comments, “This is a wonderful opportunity to allow additional students the chance to take advantage of the high-quality, student-centered atmosphere we offer here at SGSC. I look forward to the benefits it will bring not only for our College but to our region as well.”
South Georgia State College is a residential institution that now offers a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences degree and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in addition to its associate degree programs.
