SGSC is excited to offer five bachelor’s degrees: the Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences (BSBS), Management (BSM), Nursing (BSN), Early Childhood/Special Education (P-5) (ELE/SPED), and Long-Term Healthcare Management (BSLTHM).
Our BSBS degree gives students two tracks: the nature and ecology track engages students in unique ecological sites in the region including the Okefenokee Swamp Park, while the pre-professional track is designed to meet the prerequisite courses for entry into the professions of medicine, dentistry, pharmacology, and other health-related fields.
Our BSM degree is designed to target both traditional students and working adults who are in, or aspiring to be in, middle management roles or small business owners with multifaceted roles.
Our BSN degree provides increased career opportunities for students and stronger healthcare services for our communities by training students under the teachings of exceptional nursing faculty in excellent nursing lab facilities.
Our Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary/Special Education (P-5) will qualify students for teacher certification through the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC). Students graduating from this program will receive a Bachelor of Science in Elementary/Special Education degree from SGSC with a reading endorsement.
The B.S. in Long-Term Healthcare Management will develop educational skills and knowledge for managers of long-term healthcare provided in patient residences and long-term care facilities.
