NOTICE OF NON-DISCRIMINATION UNDER TITLE IX OF THE EDUCATION AMENDMENTS OF 1972.
Title IX prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in education programs or activities operated by recipients of Federal financial assistance. South Georgia State College does not discriminate on the basis of sex in its education programs and activities. Prohibited sex discrimination under Title IX includes sex-based harassment (including sexual harassment, sexual violence and gender-based harassment), harassment and bullying, pregnant or parenting students, athletic opportunities and benefits, and retaliation.
Title IX complaint procedures are found in South Georgia State College Non-Discrimination and Anti-Harassment (NDAH) Policy for complaints against non-students and the Sexual Misconduct Policy for complaints against students.
Any inquires or complaints involving the above-mentioned laws or policies may be addressed to the Title IX Coordinator.
