Zaquavian Smith Named Player Of The Week For Second Consecutive Week; Third Honor Overall

South Georgia State College’s Zaquavian Smith has been named the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association’s (GCAA) Division I Player of the Week for a second consecutive week. This is Smith's third Player of the Week honor this season.

A 6’0” redshirt sophomore from Statesboro, Ga., Smith averaged 21 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists, during wins over USC-Salkehatchie and Florida State College-Jacksonville.

Smith has signed a letter of intent to continue his basketball career next season at Nicholls State, a Division I member of the NCAA based in Thibodaux, La.
