SOAR dates announced

South Georgia State College will host Student Orientation and Registration (SOAR) sessions for new students on both the Douglas and Waycross campuses in preparation for the spring 2014 semester. The Waycross campus session will be held Friday, Dec. 6 at 9:30 a.m. in the Educational Building. The Douglas campus session is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 13 at 9:30 a.m. on the second floor of Engram Hall.

College officials encourage both new and returning students to complete all admissions, financial aid, and registration processes as early as possible to guarantee a smooth transition into spring semester. On-site registration and orientation for spring will be held on Friday, Jan. 3, 2014. The first day of class is Monday, Jan. 6.
