SGSC to hold Summer Baseball Camp July 10-13

Jeff Timothy, head coach for the South Georgia State College’s Hawks baseball team, will hold his annual baseball camp on July 10-13 for ages 6 years old and up.

This camp will stress the fundamentals of the game of baseball including all aspects of offensive and defensive play including throwing, catching, position work, hitting, bunting, and base running. Campers will receive instruction on throwing and catching techniques as well as individual position instruction.

The camp is being held at George A. Cook stadium on the Douglas Campus of South Georgia State College from Monday, July 10- Thursday, July 13 and will run from 9:00 a.m. to noon. The early-bird deadline with a registration fee of $75 ends on July 3rd. After July 3rd, the registration fee will be $85. Camp Day registrations will also be accepted.

Each camper should bring a baseball glove, bat, and a baseball uniform. Shorts are acceptable.
