SGSC To Close For Winter Break

South Georgia State College will close Friday, Dec. 18 for the holiday season. SGSC will reopen Monday, Jan. 4, 2016, and spring semester classes will begin on Jan. 11 at the Douglas and Waycross Campuses as well as the SGSC-Valdosta State University and SGSC-Georgia Southwestern State University Entry Programs.

For new students registering for spring semester, there will be a Student Orientation and Registration (SOAR) Day Jan. 6 beginning at 9:30 a.m. in Engram Hall on the Douglas Campus and the Educational Building on the Waycross Campus. Orientation for the VSU Entry Program will be Tuesday, Jan. 5, at 10 a.m. in the VSU Union Ballrooms B and C on the third floor. The GSW Entry Program Orientation is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 7, at 1 p.m. on the second floor of Collum Hall in Americus.
