SGSC Softball Ready for Season Opener

The SGSC Lady Hawks Softball team will be starting the season this weekend by competing in Clearwater, Florida, at the Junior College Kickoff Classic. The first game for the Lady Hawks will be Saturday, January 31, at 9:00 am, against Hillsborough State College of Florida. Lady Hawks Softball will play a total of four games over the weekend, and Coach Nicki Levering is hopeful for four wins: “The girls are at a good point in their game. They play well as a team, and are excited to start the season off right. We’re looking forward to an exciting, successful season, and I know that the team will give it their all.”

This year’s lineup consists of four sophomores and nine freshman:
