SGSC’s Carlos Hart Receives Fourth GCAA Player Of The Week Honor

South Georgia State College’s Carlos Hart has been named the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association’s Division I Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for the fourth time this season.
Hart, a 6’6” sophomore from Miami, Fla., averaged 21.5 points, 11 rebounds, six assists, and 1.5 steals in wins last week over Albany Tech and Central Georgia Tech. Hart had a triple-double in the Albany Tech game (15 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists).
The Hawks (15-3, 4-0 GCAA) are in the midst of a 10-game winning streak and find themselves in first place in the GCAA standings, one-half game ahead of second place Georgia Highlands. SGSC will face Georgia Highlands this Wednesday, Jan. 25 on the Waycross Campus. The game will tip at 6 p.m., which is one hour earlier than the usual start time.
General admission to all regular season home games is five dollars with children five and under admitted free.
