SGSC Hawks Jump to an Early Lead in Victory over West Georgia

South Georgia State College grabbed an early lead on its way to a 14-3 victory over West Georgia Tech on Tuesday. The Hawks captured the lead in the second inning by scoring five runs. The Hawks went on to add five more in the fifth and an additional four in the sixth.

Chandler Rogers, KC Brown, Jacob Schmidt, Jake Bryan, and Zach Rafuse each collected two hits. One hit was credited to Garrison Hurd, Chase Hinson, and Rodregas Jenkins. Bradly Cammack earned the win for the Hawks. He pitched five and a third innings, allowing three runs, seven hits, and striking out four.
