SGSC Hawks baseball falls 12 - 6 to TCC

Despite six runs early in the game, the South Georgia State College (SGSC) Hawks struggled against Tallahassee Community College (TCC) in Wednesday’s game in Douglas, eventually losing by a score of 12 – 6.
SGSC’s Cole Escher and Blake Brito collected two hits each, followed by Franco Perdono with one hit and two RBIs. Peyton Collins and Colby Owens are credited with one RBI each.
Seth Shadix took the loss for the Hawks. He went one and two-thirds innings, allowing three runs on two hits.
SGSC and TCC will play at Eagle Field in Tallahassee on Saturday, Feb. 3. First pitch is at 2 pm.
