SGSC falls to No. 12 South Georgia Tech in regular season finale

The No. 12 South Georgia Tech Jets built a 39-22 halftime lead Thursday night and never looked back, defeating the South Georgia State College Hawks, 73-48.
Jovante’ Spivey was the bright spot for the Hawks (17-13, 10-10 GCAA), finishing with 19 points, four rebounds, and three assists.
The Hawks have clinched the fifth seed in the upcoming GCAA Conference Tournament. They will travel to Atlanta Tuesday to meet Atlanta Metro, the fourth seed, in the quarterfinals. Metro swept SGSC in the regular season.
