Mayo Clinic Health System supports SGSC’s Waycross Campus

Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross continues its support of the students, faculty, and staff on South Georgia State College’s (SGSC) Waycross Campus through a significant contribution that was made to the James M. Dye Foundation.  SGSC President Dr. Virginia Carson (second from left) met recently with hospital officials to thank them for their continued generosity.  Shown with Dr. Carson are (L-R) Kenneth T. Calamia, M.D., CEO of Mayo Clinic Health System; Mary Hoffman, chief administrative officer; and Cheryl Croft, associate administrator.  Mayo Clinic Health System is a valued partner for many community organizations, and the Dye Foundation is grateful that its mission is strengthened through the hospital’s support.  The Foundation provides funding for various initiatives on SGSC’s Waycross Campus, outside of state appropriations, including student scholarships and campus events and programs.  All contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible.  For more information about the Foundation or to make a donation, please call (912) 449-7510.
