Alyssa Renae Thomas Receives Gary R. Jordan Memorial Scholarship

Alyssa Renae Thomas of Ware County is the 2016-2017 recipient of the Gary R. Jordan Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship is administered by the James M. Dye Foundation on South Georgia State College’s Waycross Campus and is awarded to students enrolled in a nursing-related course of study. A 2015 graduate of Ware County High School, Thomas is pursuing her associate’s degree in nursing with plans to become a nurse practitioner. She is the daughter of Donald and Missy Thomas.
