She is a member of Zion Baptist Church in Baxley and has participated in various community activities including Special Olympics and judge for SGSC’s annual Science Fair.
Shawnda McDaniel is also pursuing an Associate of Science Degree in Nursing. Her plan is to earn her bachelor’s degree with the goal of working in clinical management. She is a member of Hebardville Methodist Church and Indian Mound Baptist Church.
The Waycross Rotary Club scholarship is open to both traditional and non-traditional students on SGSC’s Waycross Campus. Students are nominated by Waycross Campus faculty and staff and must maintain a C average in the classroom and demonstrate a financial need.
